DESCRIPTION:The Strawberry Music Festivals are a multi-day\, family-friendly campout with live music featuring nationally recognized touring acts and up-and-coming performing artists. Since our first festival in 1982\, Strawberry has become a close-knit community of music lovers whose collective ethos is rooted in kindness\, cooperation\, and consideration\, coined as “The Strawberry Way.” \nSet on 100 acres of conifer forest\, Strawberry is held at the beautiful Nevada County Fairgrounds where camping is made comfortable by gentle terrain and ample amenities. Programming includes a wide variety of activities and entertainment for all ages and abilities. We are excited to see you at our upcoming festival!

DESCRIPTION:Live mic\, open bluegrass jam on the  fourth Sunday of the month\, in a casual performance-oriented format on the famed Sweetwater Music Hall stage. For Intermediate to Advanced players\, with support band backing. Restaurant and bar are open\, and free admittance for all ages. Bring your friends and family\, so they can see you step up to the mic and shine! Participating musicians get a complimentary first beverage from bar.  Donations to tip jar will go to CBA Youth Programs for outreach and education. SUMMARY:Burbank Bluegrass Jam at George Izay Park
DESCRIPTION:Located near the Joslyn Adult Center\, this friendly\, outdoor bluegrass jam occurs nearly every Sunday at 12 noon and typically goes until at least 2pm but may go as late as 4pm on occasion. All ages\, skill levels and bluegrass instruments are welcome to come on down and play! Ample parking is available on both Griffith Park Drive and the main lot seen in the above image.
