All kinds of pickers show up\, from rank beginners to grizzled veterans\, plus folks who just come to listen and socialize. The repertoire is straight-up traditional bluegrass\, although the occasional old-time or folk-inflected choice will pop up. The format is the old-fashioned song circle\, with each participant getting a turn to call a song and set its key\, pace\, and feel. An experienced jam leader and bass player are always present to help keep things on track. Everyone is welcome — come on down!
