Dix Bruce Memorial Concert – Sat April 15 – Freight & Salvage

Friends, family, and community gather to celebrate the life of musician, composer, and educator Dix Bruce. A fixture of the Bay Area music scene for decades, Dix brought his energetic and exuberant personality to stages across the country and led groups playing everything from traditional jazz to bluegrass, Americana, folk, and rock. Previous to the pandemic, he taught classes here at the Freight and is well-remembered for playing at our New Year’s Eve parties.
