Never Come Down with Cheyenne Sky Trio at Crazy Horse Saloon

You can feel the goosebumps as soon as the sound of Never Come Down enters your consciousness. Weaving together modern and traditional styles of bluegrass and Americana, this Portland quintet clearly has that special something which elevates these genres to sacred realms. Their dedication to thoughtful songwriting and dynamic arrangements highlight polished technical skills and a commitment to symbiotic collaboration. Their upward trajectory is notable since the release of their second album, Better Late Than Never, in 2021. They’ve toured internationally and have found acclaim at festivals and venues such as Iceland Airwaves, John Hartford Memorial Fest, Americanafest, FreshGrass, and RockyGrass. Their Crazy Horse debut last year left jaws on the floor and this time we only expect more of the same.

Opening Band: Cheyanne Sky Trio
For over a decade, Cheyenne Skye has been bringing quality music to center stage. From her hometown folk-stomp roots in Santa Barbara (Rainbow Girls) to her more recent soulful rock ensemble (Cheyenne Skye & The Tasty Cakes), Skye has always been the magnetic center of her projects. In the latest incarnation of her sound, Skye is teaming up with Tasty Cakes drummer Brian Coe and longtime collaborator Daniel Bergan on bass to bring a heartfelt, danceable groove to Crazy Horse.

Concert starts at 9pm and will go until 12:30 a.m. or until they run out of notes.
