A grass roots music camp offering classes, workshops and concerts featuring renowned world-class performers and teachers, at the Commonweal Gardens in Bolinas, CA. Nestled in a lush canyon with trails, beaches; surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. Evening fires, jams, delicious home-cooked meals and dinners by gourmet chef.
World-class musicians from around the country offer master classes and workshops in fiddle, banjo, guitar, voice, and mandolin for intermediate to advanced students, as well as band classes offering a full participatory experience in different genres. There will be plenty of additional programming on guitar and fiddle for beginners of all ages and a special Little Folkies children’s program for kids ages 7-12 on guitar, ukulele, and fiddle, plus songwriting workshops!
This year’s instructors include Cedric Watson, Suzy Thompson, Riley Baugus, Mark Schatz, Keith Little, Nokosee Fields, Emily Mann, Rainy Miatke, and Josh Rilko.
