Camping & Lodging

Dry Tent camping

There is a specific “Tent Camping” area to the east of the RV campground where only tents or vehicle camping is allowed. These sites are first come, first served. You may arrive at any time. If you arrive before Sunday, June 12, 2022, you will pay the Nevada County Fairgrounds directly. If you arrive on Sunday, June 12, 2022, or after you will pay the CBA at a rate of $20 per day through Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Dry camping is included in the four-day festival ticket starting Thursday, June 16, 2022.

There is additional dry tent camping throughout the campground wherever you are able to find a spot. The costs are the same.

Dry RV Camping

There is plenty of room throughout the campground for RVs. These sites are first come, first served. You may arrive at any time. If you arrive before Sunday, June 12, 2022, you will pay the Nevada County Fairgrounds directly. If you arrive on Sunday, June 12, 2022, or after you will pay the CBA at a rate of $25 per day through Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Dry camping is included in the four-day festival ticket starting Thursday, June 16, 2022.

You may not camp at an electrical pedestal without first paying $150. Please do not block the electrical pedestal. You will be asked to move and that would be a hassle! Thank you in advance.

Electric only

These sites are reserved through the TIX program at a first come, first served basis. You do not need to be a CBA member to reserve a site. These sites are paid for in advance through the TIX system with a credit card. All of the sites are in an open field located at the southern end of the campground. Volunteers will have the spaces marked and the electrical wiring will be in place. You may arrive on Monday, June 13, 2022, when the field will be ready. The cost of these sites will be $120 per week, from Monday, June 13, 2022, through Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Electric/Water sites

These sites are scattered throughout the campground. There are two sites (A&B) per pedestal. The TIX program will be used to reserve these sites on a first come, first served basis. You do not need to be a CBA member to reserve a site. These sites are paid for in advance through the TIX system with a credit card. You may arrive on Sunday, June 12, 2022. The cost of these sites will be $150 per week, from Sunday, June 12, 2022, through Sunday, June 19, 2022.

Full hookup

These sites are full for 2022.

These sites are assigned per a lottery system. “CBA Members Only” are eligible to enter the lottery. As promised by the CBA in 2020, the list of winners from that lottery will be awarded the sites for 2022.

You will pay for the sites prior to arrival by check or credit card. You may arrive on Sunday, June 12, 2022. The cost of these sites will be $250 per week.

For future festivals the lottery will be run again.

Pickers' Special Camping

CBA MEMBERS ONLY – This is a new program that we are trying for the first time. If you are a picker and would like to come camp and play music and never go to the stage, we have an option for you!!! You may purchase this camping option at the gate as you arrive. Tent camping will be $125 per person and RV camping will be $150 per person. You will be able to camp from Sunday, June 12, 2022, through Sunday, June 19, 2022. Please remember you will not be able to access the interior of the fairgrounds for any reason.

ADA Camping

There are a limited number of ADA Accessible camping spaces available for Festival attendees that need special accommodations. “Advance Reservations” are required by May 1, 2022. Please contact Lolan Ellis at [email protected]. Campers in the designated ADA camping areas must display a California (or other state) Handicapped Placard on their camping vehicle or automobile. The ADA Accessible sites in the campground have Electric and Water. These sites are paid for in advance through the TIX system using a credit card. You may arrive on Sunday, June 12, 2022. The cost of these sites will be $150 per week.

Camping Rules

There is a specific “Tent Camping” area to the east of the RV campground where only tents or vehicle camping is allowed.
These sites are first come, first served.

1. Do not lay power cords across the roadways
2. Do not save spots for friends by roping off areas
3. Please place all trash in appropriate containers
4. No campfires allowed. Use propane flames cautiously
5. Keep wristbands on at all times.
6. Generators may not be used between 10pm and 8am. Use them sparingly at other times.
7. Dogs will not be allowed in the tent only camping area .
This policy applies to dog walkers as well as tent campers and RVs camped along the fence line.

We ask that you place all garbage in the cans provided by 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 20th, so that the clean-up crew can collect it and finish their weeklong task in good time.
