CBA’s 2023 Fundraising Sweepstakes concluded on Saturday, October 14 during our Annual all-member meeting. Here are the winners:
In our Guitar Sweepstakes, Paul Lawton, of Ben Lomond, CA won First prize — the Santa Cruz OM Pre-War style guitar. Second place prize of the Ear Trumpet Lab Dephina Microphone was won by Nicolas Whitaker of Forestville, CA and the Third Prize of a one-year Peghead Nation subscription was awarded to Frederick Baumeister in Auburn, CA.
For the Banjo Sweepstakes: Wayne Ginsburg of Woodland, CA was lucky enough to win both the First prize – the Deering Eagle II Banjo – and Second Prize, a one-year Peghead Nation subscription. Third prize, the 5-sets of D’Addario XT Banjo Strings, went to David Ristrim of Whites Creek, TN.
This First prize in our Fiddle Sweepstakes with to Teri Grant of Auburn, CA. Second prize, the one-year Peghead Nation Subscription, was won by Katrina Kaiser of Novato, CA, and Third prize, two sets of D’Addario Fiddle Strings, went to Jason Heiss of Nevada City, CA.
Congratulations to all our Sweepstakes winners, and thanks to everyone who participated with your support. CBA raised almost $10,000 from this year’s Fundraiser, which will be put to good use in preserving and promoting Bluegrass and Old-time music.
