Alan Bond & Skedaddle is a San Francisco Bay Area band featuring a mix of original songs, Bluegrass, and Old-time. Styling themselves a “California Cosmic String Band,” they offer a distinct approach to new and traditional material with topics ranging from American rustic to extraterrestrial visitation.
Alan Bond (mandolin, guitar, and vocals) has written many great songs that have seeded the band’s rapidly crystallizing repertoire. Alan is joined by Judy Forrest (guitar and vocals), Tom Lucas (banjo, fiddle, and vocals), who also writes songs and tunes for the band, and Bruce “the groove is the thing” Lacey (bass and vocals). Their inspired, innovative repertoire has been winning fans from Napa to Carmel and beyond.
