CBA Youth Academy

CBA Youth Academy is a four-day music camp for students ages 8-16 held during the CBA Father’s Day Festival.

Registration is limited to 50 students and is for beginning and intermediate skill levels, meant to launch students successfully into our Kids on Bluegrass program. Classes are focused on instrument skill-building, playing in a band, and jam skills. Instruction is available for guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, bass, and vocals. Instruments provided for camp upon request. Become a CBA member for discounted tuition and the ability to check out an instrument for a year with our Instrument Lending Library program. Email youth@californiabluegrass.net to ask about scholarships.

The Academy is directed by Kimber Ludiker – 2022 IBMA Mentor of the Year, founder of Grammy-nominated Della Mae and three-time National Fiddle Champion.
