Association Documents

The California Bluegrass Association is a California non-profit corporation founded in 1974, to “promote, encourage, foster, and cultivate the preservation, appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, support, and performance of bluegrass, old-time, gospel, and traditional instrumental and vocal music of the United States.”

We’re pleased that the all-volunteer organization continues today as a result of a sound foundation and the enthusiasm and commitment of its members.
