After many years as a fixture on the Nashville bluegrass scene, Johnny and banjo player Phyllis Erck relocated to California, where Johnny has deep roots and longstanding friendships throughout the Bay Area bluegrass community. Their connections to California bluegrass stretch back decades through festivals, concerts, camps, and collaborations with many of the region’s most respected musicians.
The band’s performances blend Nashville polish with West Coast warmth, delivering high-energy fiddle tunes, traditional bluegrass favorites, gospel songs, and original material.
