The Storytellers is a prominent progressive bluegrass band that has established itself as a creative force in the Southern California Roots Music scene. They draw from the rich canon of traditional bluegrass, country blues, old-time and folk music as a basis for inspired improvisations and intrepid vocal harmonies. Renowned for their strong musical chemistry, soulful harmonies, delicate acoustic sensibilities, soaring grooves, tight rhythms, and substantive storytelling, they bring their joyous musical magic to every stage they stand on.
The Storytellers has performed at numerous bluegrass festivals, music festivals, and other regional fairs and festivals. The band performed a year-long residency at Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and in 2023 became the first bluegrass band to perform on NAMM’s premier stage. In 2024 the band headlined the prestigious Prescott Bluegrass Festival. In March, they were honored to perform with bluegrass legend Peter Rowan at Brookdale Bluegrass Festival.
