The CBA-sponsored GoFundMe campaign for Danny Paisley to help him and his family with expenses incurred as a result of his treatment for throat cancer has raised $30,000 of the $47,000 goal, a goal chosen in honor of the California Bluegrass Association’s 47th Annual Father’s Day Festival in 2022. Danny has successfully completed his treatment, and hopes to be performing again soon.
Of course, this treatment has had a significant impact on Danny’s livelihood, and it follows the extremely difficult period for all musicians during the pandemic.
Three East Coast musicians who are also fans of Danny — Cathy Fink, Marcy Marxer, and Justin Hiltner — have made some videos to try to spark additional interest in the campaign.
