I have been teaching music for most of my adult life; I really love to teach and help people enjoy playing music. Besides string instruments, I also teach piano, which to me is the best instrument to learn basic music theory on. But as far as bluegrass/old time instruction, I can offer beginning to intermediate guitar and old tune banjo lessons, with rates to fit your budget and lessons to fit what you want to learn, combined with what I think you should know. I live in Fort Bragg now but also frequently spend time in the North Bay, and can offer lessons in either location.
