What an incredible weekend of bluegrass and friends and and grilled cheese sandwiches. Our fourth annual jam in Bakersfield was the best yet, with about a 30% increase in attendance and participation by every bluegrass association in California.
Special thanks to Craig Wilson and Kelvin Gregory for making it all happen, Slim Sims and Charlene Sims for serving as our gracious hosts, all of our workshop presenters, Deb Livermore running the President Suite and, well, thanks to just everybody. You’ll be reading a lot more of the specifics here and in the Breakdown, but it’s important to get the week started with the news–the Great 48 Jam in Bakersfield was a gigantic success!
