Apologia

Oct 20, 2022 | Uncategorized, Welcome Column

The Daily Grist: Apologia (noun) a formal written defense of something you believe in strongly.

Dear Readers, I believe strongly in the CBA welcome column but, rather than compose an apologia defending the column, allow me to simply apologize for my silence of the last month. The reason is simple. I was busy traveling back and forth across our beautiful country overland for the the fifteenth and sixteenth time.

Thanks to Bruce Campbell particularly for keeping the welcome column flowing during my absence. Bruce just seems to always have interesting stuff. Definitely a guy who could write his way out of a paper bag.

Apologies are also in order for my trivia question followers. I forgot to post on the message board and the response via the Bluegrass Breakdown has been somewhat overwhelming. I need to figure this out. If you missed the question it is: What Bluegrass Boy used a pseudonym?

I’m back now and although I found a good jam in West Virginia, I have little to report from the journey from a bluegrass perspective. But there is more stuff in the pipeline.
