Mission Blue Duet is a Bay Area-based father-daughter Americana duo. Steeped in the tradition of bluegrass music, Avram and Dana bring captivating familial harmonies with modern takes on old ballads. They both perform in a traditional five-piece bluegrass band, Mission Blue. The duet began as a side project, hoping to explore other genres under the umbrella of Americana. They also wanted to pursue playing in different instrumental forms. Avram and Dana are multi-instrumentalists and diversify their performance by trading instruments and playing in various forms depending on the song.
