Any parent of a fussy infant will tell you that they wish they had some soothing music to encourage their baby to calm down and sleep. Tony Wray at Pinecastle Records started the project to provide acoustic guitar, fiddle, and mandolin to play the melodies of ten popular and familiar songs. While in days of old, parents may have had time to sing or tell stories to their children, our often rushed lives don’t give much time to share quiet times.
The 34 minutes of music will bring a smile to older folk, and might even make them fall asleep!
