When Eddie DuCommun died several weeks ago it sent a shock wave through our bluegrass family. Like his sister Diana Donnelly, Eddie had a phenomenal amount of music in him, and like his sister, he was loved by all who knew him. Over the weekend, Duane and Michele Campbell hosted a farewell jam for our old friend and all I can tell you is that it was exactly the kind of get-together you’d expect for honoring a man with as much love for music and friends as Eddie DuCommun had. No one who attended will ever forget that day in Gilroy, and they sure won’t ever forget that man.
