Benefit for CBA’s After-school Bluegrass Club (ABC) with David Nelson Band, Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band, and more at Sweetwater Music Hall

David Nelson Band & Friends, with Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band: A Benefit for the CBA’s After-school Bluegrass Club Program
Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime musical collaboration presented by the California Bluegrass Association and Help’s On The Way.
This concert is a benefit for the After-school Bluegrass Club (ABC) Program, supporting children’s roots music education access across California. Every ticket, every raffle entry, and every auction bid goes toward keeping music education alive for kids who wouldn’t otherwise have access.
David Nelson—a founding voice of the West Coast psychedelic-Americana sound, and a longtime collaborator across the extended Grateful Dead family—brings together a singular lineup including Suzy & Eric Thompson, Paul Knight, and Lowell “Banana” Levinger. Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band opens—themselves alumni of the California Bluegrass Association’s youth programs, back to pay-it-forward in support of the kids coming up behind them.
