Don & Jerry Sing Bluegrass Duets – Vallejo CA

While performing together in the all-star midwestern bluegrass band THIRD COAST BLUEGRASS, Don Stiernberg and Jerry Wicentowski discovered and developed their strong interest in singing duets, particularly the “brother duet” style found in bluegrass, country, and old-time music. Think Monroe Bros., Stanley Bros., Jim and Jesse, Louvin Bros.,Blue Sky Boys, Delmore Bros., and disciples of those artists such as Doc Watson, and you begin to have an idea of the sound of this new duet known as Don & Jerry. So what do you get when combining a jazz mandolinist with a legendary bluegrass singer, both musicians crazy about singing traditional music?
