I’m just about to take leave of the sumptuous surroundings in CBA Headquarters, and head off the Bakersfield for the Great 48 Jam. I’ll turn the light when I leave, after feeding the pet iguana in Geoff Sargent’s office.
By the way, today (January 11th 2019) the Google doodle is a guy playing banjo – I take this as a sign to hurry up and get myself Bakersfield bound as soon as possible!
So, don’t be alarmed if there aren’t any new welcome columns for a couple of days – all the writers are on the road, soaking up experiences to provide fodder for many more columns to come!
