(TEA BAG IN MOUTH–First things first. For whatever reason, I spent 67 years walking this planet before anyone saw fit to tell me that when you have a hole in your jaw where a tooth should be, the best thing to fill it with, temporarily, of course, is a used tea bag. {I don’t think the flavor matters much.} Something to do with the tannic acid, I’m told. Well, I can’t vouch for that 100%, but I can tell you that the tea bag home remedy’s an effective one.)
Okay, for my column today I need to announce that for the next week there’ll be limited updating of the CBA’s Internet web site. I’ve flown to Raleigh, NC, to attend the trade show and, later in the week, the Fan Fest, produced each September/October by the International Bluegrass Music Association. The closest I can come to describing the week-long event is–imagine a variation on Disneyland constructed solely for bluegrass and old-time fanatics and then multiply that by 10,000. That’s Raleigh at the end of September and beginning of October. If you’re interested in more detail, head over to https://ibma.org/world-of-bluegrass.
I want to thank Jim Myers for taking charge of cbaweb.org while I’m gone. Jim’s one of the unsung heroes of our Web Team.
Okay, see you right back here on October 2nd. Oh, please vote and please be sure to make it to Lodi for our annual Camp Out in October.
