My name is Alisha, I am a fiddler and cello player from California North State.
My whole life has been spent immersed in the folk styles around these parts. I grew up playing plenty of Texas, Old Time, and Bluegrass, and have also found a love for Appalachian and Celtic styles such as Irish, Scottish, and Cape Bretton. If you’re also interested in learning skills such as reading sheet music and going deep into music theory, we can go along that road too. I’m happy to work with all ages and skill levels. I charge by the lesson, so no worries if the time goes a little long talking about the styles or getting a tune down!
