Executive Assistant
Whippoorwill Arts seeks to hire a part-time Executive Assistant (EA). The EA plays a key administrative role providing a high level of administrative support to the Executive Director and Board President. The Executive Assistant must operate with a high degree of autonomy based on a thorough knowledge of Whippoorwill Arts priorities, goals and timelines. It is important that this person is agile and can be flexible working in a newly formed nonprofit.
Description of Duties
Scheduling of meetings.

Maintaining a cohesive online filing system for the Executive office.

Arranging logistics for special meetings, retreats and events.

Managing projects assigned.

Researching, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing information; provides background information, talking points, reports, and briefing materials as needed.

Shipping packages, thank you gifts, etc.

Checking mail.

Data Entry, Customer Relation database (Pipedrive)

Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience are ”must-haves” for this role?

Impeccable administrative and organizational skills – drafting correspondence, managing email, scheduling, etc.

Self-motivation, initiative, persistence, dependability, and ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision

Genuine persistence and resilience, allowing you to overcome setbacks, extract key learnings, and turn them into opportunities for growth

Experience and discipline to work in a remote environment.

Salary:
The Executive Assistant is a part-time, hourly position. We estimate 5-10 hours per week with room to grow. Some flexibility around work hours will be required, including occasional evenings and weekends. The hourly rate is $20-25 depending on experience.
