Nestled in the Cuyamaca Mountains, Whispering Winds is 161 acres in the scenic Cleveland National Forest, five miles south of the historic gold-mining town of Julian, CA.
While primarily a Catholic family retreat and conference center, Whispering Winds is open year-round to all faiths. It is a full-service camp, offering fine meals, varied activities, and small and large group meeting places. It has dorm, family and semi-private sleeping accommodations, as well as sites to park RV’s (dry camping) and pitch your tent. It’s buildings are beautifully appointed and its easy-to-walk grounds are well-maintained. It is a lovely and accommodating facility in the heart of one of the most beautiful parts of Southern California.
