Pricing, Registration, and Payment
Registration - opens November 1
All meals, instruction and evening concerts are included with your registration.
Campers have the option of staying in on-site accommodations which are included with full registration, or the “Commuter” option and either commute from home, find accommodations off-site, or camp on-site.
Additionally, campers can choose the “Sleep-In” option, which does not include daily classes, but does include meals, accommodations, and the evening concerts.

Online Registration
Registering online lets you pay for camp with a credit card. At JMC you are free to go to whichever class you like during camp or mix and match during the week, so you don’t have to sign up for a specific class, just your registration type (full, senior, commuter, etc.). Once you register successfully, you will immediately receive a registration confirmation, plus updates and further instruction as camp approaches.
Payments and Deposits

Discounts
Currently enrolled college students receive a $50 discount. Before you register, please send a photo of your current college ID to JMC@californiabluegrass.net and we will be in touch with confirmation.
JMC also offers a discount for families, please email JMC@californiabluegrass.net for details.
Refunds
Cancellations received before April 19 will receive a refund less a non-refundable $65 deposit. If unexpected circumstances force you to cancel, please email us as soon as possible.
Scholarships
The scholarship program is made possible through the donations of generous CBA members and other music campers who pay a little extra to help fund it. We are extremely grateful to them!
There are two types of scholarships available, the majority of which are partial scholarships. Full scholarships, which cover full tuition and in some cases also meals and camping are intended for low-income young people who are devoted to playing bluegrass and/or Old-time music.
Scholarship recipients – or their parents – are requested to help out at camp with a camp chore or two (there are many to choose from!).
