In the morning session we’ll teach a tune – by ear! (Don’t worry, we’ll also have sheet music, tab, and videos to help.) Geff will take the fiddles, Masha takes the banjos, then we’ll all come together to play as a group. The second session of the day we’ll concentrate on technique, variations, further refining the tune from that morning, and reviewing the previous day’s tune. Each student will come away with at least 3 good, solid old-time tunes in different keys, and new techniques you can work on at home.
