South State 48 vol V takes place in beautiful Carlsbad, CA from Thursday, November 6th – Sunday, November 9th, 2025. (24 hour jamming starts Friday.) Discounted hotel room reservations are now open to CBA members. If you’d like to stay at the host hotel, we strongly recommend you book your room ASAP. Although we’ve added many rooms, they typically sell out quickly!

This is a jamming event! Tune up your guitar, rosin up that fiddle bow and get ready to pick 24/7. You can play music in the beautiful tree-filled courtyard all day and all night. When you get hungry (for something besides music), check out the Windmill Food Hall, conveniently located adjacent to the hotel. This food venue features a dozen different restaurants and a full bar.
Rooms must be reserved for at least two nights. No single day room bookings are available under the CBA discounted rate. Everyone is welcome to attend!
